We offer a choice of exciting events for individuals from beginners to experienced shooters.

With events like the Have a go, Ladies days and the Young shots catering to all abilities as well as our flurries for the experienced shooter wanting to test themselves for the season.

Our facilities include a huge variety and mix of stands and landscaping, with trap towers of differing heights up to 120ft. All set in our 100 Acre Northern Essex stunning countryside.

LADIES MORNING
25 MARCH 2026

We are delighted to welcome guests of all abilities, from complete beginners and non-licence holders to experienced shots. The morning will begin with freshly brewed tea and coffee, accompanied by bacon rolls, as you are introduced to your Fennes instructor.

Groups will then head out onto the grounds to enjoy a round of clays, delivered with expert guidance in a relaxed and supportive setting. Following the shoot, you will return to the shoot hut to reflect on the morning’s experience and unwind with a further selection of drinks in the company of friends.

FLURRY

We offer exciting flurry shoots for groups, as well as tailored event days — perfect for team-building, client entertainment, or just a great day out with friends.

LADIES DAY

The day will start with Teas and Coffees while you meet your Fennes Instructor for the morning. Groups will then head out to shoot 50 clays under instruction and you will be welcomed back to the Shoot hut where you will find a selection of sandwiches, cakes and hot drinks.

HAVE A GO

Perfect for complete beginners eager to give clay shooting a try! Open to anyone aged 10 and above, this experience offers a fun and safe introduction to the sport.
Enjoy a 30-minute session where you’ll shoot 25 clays, all under the expert guidance of one of our professional instructors.

YOUNG SHOTS

Our Young shots events are prefect for the newbies to the sport or those looking to sharpen their aim, this is the perfect chance to learn, compete, and have fun. During the full day event your tween/teen will receive full tuition, gun safety training, safety equipment 25 practice shots and 25 in friendly competition, as well as lunch.
